Admin & Finance Manager


UMO INTERIM is a Selection & Recruitment company active for more than 20 years in West Africa. We have offices in Senegal, Burkina-Faso, Mali, Benin, Togo and Ivory Coast. For our client, an international organisation active in the Agricultural industry, we are looking for an Admin and Finance Manager to be based in Abidjan. The Admin & Finance Manager will oversee the financial activities of the group in Ivory Coast, which included two entities: Trading commodities and a cashew processing plant.



  • Manage the overall financial plans and accounting practice
  • Together with the Country Director, develop an annual operating plan and financial budget that support the Corporation's long-term strategy
  • Define and recommend pricing schemes
  • Provide financial analysis support for critical decision-making
  • Ensure financial compliance with policies and procedures and legal rules and regulations
  • Be fiduciary responsibility for the financial health of the organization
  • Manage cash flow planning process and ensure funds availability
  • Hire, build, train, develop and manage a team of up to 3 people in the finance department
  • Works with other executives to establish priorities for the planning process
  • Ensure that effective internal controls are in place
  • Manage all the administrative and HR tasks



  • Master degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in managing complex financial and administrative activities
  • Experimented with capital development, planning, programming, and budgeting systems
  • Confirmed experience at a manufacturing company
  • Experience in cashew is a strong asset
  • Knowledge of local legislation relating to taxes, business and accounting
  • High numeracy and good at excel skills
  • Familiar with ERP and accounting software
  • Strong sense of analysis, attention to detail and an investigative nature
  • Capacity to make quick but rational decisions
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Excellent level in French and English
  • Demonstrated strong organizational skills
  • Strong ability to work individually as well as to build and lead a small team of skilled professionals and guiding other departments
  • Comfortable in working in a multi countries and cultures environment
