Notre client est une entreprise opérant en Côte d'Ivoire dans le secteur de la logistique.
Nous recherchons pour leur compte Un Logistics Superintendent pour rejoindre leur équipe.
POSTE :
- Provide clear and visible leadership, aligning with the organization's objectives and fostering a culture built on our core values.
- Demonstrate commitment to health and safety, promoting awareness and proactively managing risks.
- Manage and supervise the Cote D'Ivoire's Product Logistics Team, ensuring adherence to policies, operational strategies, and service metrics.
- Liaise with freight forwarding agencies, coordinating the trucks arrival and the timely delivery of the goods at the port, to meet shipping targets.
- Keep continual contact with the mine team to ensure operational information is being passed thoroughly between site and the ports.
- Provide support to freight forwarders in Abidjan for the clearance and the dispatch of the goods destined to LMSA.
- Maintain accurate logistics documentation, schedules, and estimated time of arrivals (ETAs).
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including quality control teams, port operations staff, freight forwarding representatives, and transport company representatives.
- Ensure compliance with legislative, regulatory, and statutory obligations, providing reports for executives and board distribution.
- Adhere to company policies and protocols, ensuring compliance with all statutory and company obligations.
- Undertake any additional responsibilities as reasonably required.

- Proactively identify and manage health and safety risks
- Personally adhere to all health and safety standards
- Ensure all legislative, regulatory and statutory obligations are met
- Provide reports suitable for executive and board distribution
- Conform to company policy and protocols and ensure compliance with all statutory and company obligations
- Undertake any other responsibilities as reasonably required
PROFIL :
- At least 5 years of successful experience in Supply Chain or Logistics, ideally gained in freight forwarding.
- 3 years of previous experience with bulk transport operations.
- Good knowledge of safety standards and transport procedures in Côte d'Ivoire.
- Qualification in Freight Forwarding, Supply Chain, or Logistics.
- Knowledge of export documentation and relevant terms is essential.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- Previous experience with materials handling software.
- Fluent in English and proficient in French (desirable)
- Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
- Solution-oriented mindset with the ability to identify and prioritize problems, generate solutions, and collaborate effectively.
- Self-motivated, independent worker with a high degree of initiative, energy, and commitment.
- Ability to construct new processes and enhance existing process structures.
- Demonstrated background in building and retaining a strong team culture.
